El Gobernador de Risaralda Victor Manuel Tamayo Vargas, resaltó la importancia de celebrar estás fiestas con un enfoque social en pro del desarrollo de Risaralda, con proyectos importantes que se darán en el mes de febrero.
Hechos sociales de relevancia para muchas familias vulnerables, como la puesta al servicio de un hogar de paso, entrega de insentivos para proyectos productivos de mujeres, obras como la vía Pereira-Alcalá, Japón-Frailes que están en su etapa final y la entrega protocolaria a la UTP del lote para iniciar las obras del Centro de Ciencia y Biodiversidad CIBI en Dosquebradas.
La programación continuará este sábado con el Encuentro Nacional de Bandas de Marcha que contará con la participación de grupos de adultos mayores de diferentes rincones del país. El desfile partirá a las 9:00 am desde la plazoleta de la Gobernación hasta la Plaza de Bolívar de la capital risaraldense.
