Ante el incremento de los robos durante estas fechas, el Teniente Coronel Alex Rodrigo Venegas Ruiz, Comandante de la Policía Metropolitana de Pereira hace un llamado a tomar medidas preventivas en los establecimientos de comercio:
Estar alerta a los compradores, pueden manipular y esconder mercancía entre su ropa o bolsas fácilmente.
Instruya a empleados y familiares sobre las diferentes modalidades de hurto.
Fortalezca los sistemas de seguridad, alarmas, iluminación externa y cerraduras.
Implemente frentes de seguridad con los uniformados del cuadrante de la policía del sector.
Al vincular laboralmente a una persona, utilice los servicios de agencias de empleo, solicite recomendaciones y verifique la ubicación de los domicilios para establecer sus condiciones familiares y sociales.
Si tiene objetos de valor o grandes cantidades de dinero, no lo manifieste y manténgalos en un lugar seguro.
Recuerde el servicio de acompañamiento gratuito de la Policía en caso de retirar dinero de las diferentes entidades crediticias durante las 24 horas, comunicándose a las líneas de emergencia 123.
