Estamos seguros en la ASI que vamos a hacer un muy buen equipo, que vamos a gestionar y traer recursos para esta hermosa ciudad que tanto lo necesita”, declaró la senadora Berenice Bedoya.
La entrega del coaval estuvo fundamentada en la firma de un acuerdo programático en el cual se destacaron aspectos importantes de la ciudad tales como la seguridad, educación, cultura, salud, protección ambiental y el cuidado de los animales de compañía.
Mauricio Salazar candidato a la Alcaldía de Pereira por la coalición de partidos Primero Pereira, agradeció a los miembros de la ASI, porque el respaldo a sus iniciativas no llega desde hoy, sino que ha sido la colectividad que ha creído siempre en su intención de trabajar por la familia pereirana y que hoy reitera este respaldo para aunar esfuerzos en pro de alcanzar la Alcaldía con una aspiración incluyente y cuya bandera común sea Pereira.
“Yo me siento como en casa, porque hace cuatro años la ASI, fue el único partido que me avaló y por supuesto que desde ese entonces, habita en mi corazón y doy muchas gracias porque nuevamente me acogen. En esta coalición Primero Pereira vamos a encontrar apoyos de todos los sectores, porque nuestra coalición no promueve ni defiende una ideología política, nuestra coalición tiene una causa común y se llama Pereira”, indicó el candidato a la Alcaldía Mauricio Salazar.
Por su parte, Carolina Pulgarín, Secretaria departamental de la ASI, manifestó que “nosotros hemos escogido al doctor Mauricio, primero, porque venimos haciendo un seguimiento al trabajo que ha realizado durante todo este tiempo y ya lo hemos apoyado. Queremos nuevamente apoyar un propósito diferente, que de verdad sea doliente de Pereira, porque la ciudad definitivamente está muy abandonada y en Mauricio vemos ese sentido de pertenencia, además que congeniamos mucho con las propuestas que tiene para la ciudad”.
