El alcalde Mauricio Salazar Peláez, acompañado por los integrantes de su gabinete, participó en la procesión del Santo Sepulcro. Las calles del Centro se llenaron de devoción, con feligreses congregándose a lo largo de las carreras Séptima y Octava, desde la calle 14 hasta la 25, para presenciar esta tradición que se destaca por su belleza y la solemnidad de los monumentos e imágenes que acompañan los diferentes pasos.
“Los pereiranos están reconociendo esta Semana Santa como la mejor que ha tenido Pereira y una de las mejores del país. Hemos entregado todo nuestro amor a la ciudad y a esta fecha tan importante para todos, y seguiremos haciéndolo”, mencionó Salazar Peláez.
Esta procesión, una de las más importantes de la Semana Mayor, contó con la participación de la Banda Músico Marcial del Batallón de la Guardia Presidencial, gracias a la gestión del alcalde de Pereira. Además, también acompañará la procesión de hoy sábado de la Soledad de la Virgen María.
Así lo confirmó el secretario de Desarrollo Económico, Cristian Toro Calle, quien destacó el hecho como histórico para la ciudad, ya que es la primera vez que esta Banda Marcial, que normalmente cubre los eventos de la Presidencia de la República, sale de la capital para participar en las procesiones que forman parte de la programación de la Semana Santa de Pereira.
Buen balance de la Feria de Emprendimiento en la Plaza de Bolívar
En este Viernes Santo, la innovación y el espíritu empresarial continuaron en el segundo día de la Feria de Emprendimiento, un evento que ha marcado un antes y un después para varios emprendedores locales. Bajo la coordinación de Cristian Alejandro Patiño, la iniciativa “Hecho en Pereira” ha experimentado una participación sin precedentes, reportando ventas superiores a los $20 millones de pesos en su primera jornada, el Jueves Santo.
La Plaza de Bolívar albergará nuevamente hoy Sábado Santo a 50 emprendimientos locales en un evento que promete ser un impulso sin igual para la economía local. Patiño afirmó: “Es la primera vez, en muchos años, que nuestros emprendedores experimentan un volumen de ventas tan significativo. Esto refleja el compromiso y la felicidad que renuevan nuestro esfuerzo en la estrategia ‘Pereira al Centro'”.
La popularidad de estas ferias ha generado una demanda constante por parte de los participantes de más eventos y oportunidades de mercado. En respuesta a esto, la Secretaría de Desarrollo Económico ha planificado un calendario mensual de ferias temáticas para seguir impulsando el crecimiento local a través de la estrategia ‘Pereira al Centro’.
Los emprendedores interesados en unirse a esta iniciativa pueden registrarse a través del enlace en el perfil de Instagram de “Hecho en Pereira”. El proceso incluye capacitación y asistencia técnica en los Centros de Desarrollo Empresarial (CEDES), ofreciendo una plataforma única para negocios en cualquier etapa de desarrollo, desde la idea inicial hasta la exportación.
Durante la Semana Santa, el evento no solo ha cautivado a los locales, sino también a los turistas, quienes han elogiado la excelente atención y la variada programación. Este entusiasmo colectivo ha sido crucial para el éxito del evento, mostrando el arduo trabajo detrás de cada detalle organizativo. “La respuesta del público ha sido extraordinariamente positiva, lo que nos impulsa a esforzarnos aún más para que futuros eventos sean aún mejores”, concluyó Patiño, evidenciando un futuro prometedor para los emprendedores de Pereira.
Obra de teatro: segundo capítulo de la “Pasión De Cristo”
Tanto los pereiranos como los visitantes demostraron un compromiso ejemplar y una respuesta positiva frente al segundo capítulo de la obra “Pasión de Cristo”. En esta ocasión, se presentó el momento crucial en el que Jesús es enjuiciado, crucificado y finalmente descendido de la cruz.
El director de teatro, Adrián Fonnegra, resaltó que, a pesar de la llovizna que se presentó, los espectadores se sumergieron por completo en la representación en vivo de la Semana Santa, quedando maravillados por la creatividad con la que se llevó a cabo la pasión, muerte y resurrección de Jesús. Todo esto fue posible gracias al talento del grupo de teatro Arte en Movimiento.
