A través del decreto 1442, el saliente gobernador de Risaralda Víctor Manuel Tamayo Vargas condecoró en la mañana de hoy, al gobernador electo Juan Diego Patiño Ochoa, con la Orden Gran Cruz de Risaralda.
Esta máxima distinción se reserva para personalidades que han sobresalido por la labor desempeñada en favor del departamento y en este caso se quiso exaltar la elección de Juan Diego como nuevo gobernador para el periodo 2024 – 2027.
“Como lo prescribe la ordenanza es deber del gobernador saliente imponer la Cruz de Risaralda al gobernador entrante, la condecoración más alta que un risaraldense puede recibir, se la entrego con inmenso cariño, porque puedo dar fe del trabajo que desde la Asamblea hizo por Risaralda y de la gran labor que sin duda va a seguir haciendo por este territorio, desde el fondo de mi alma le deseo la mejor de las suertes”, fueron las palabras de Víctor Manuel Tamayo.
El gobernador electo estuvo acompañado de su señora esposa Catalina Giraldo, su hijo Matías, su señora madre Soledad, su hermano Daniel, el presidente de la Asamblea Departamental Carlos Andrés Gil y varios miembros de su equipo de trabajo.
Por su parte el gobernador entrante, Juan Diego Patiño Ochoa, expresó: “Me llena de orgullo haber sacado adelante los proyectos de ordenanza y haber logrado trabajar de la mano de la Gobernación para una mejor Risaralda; estoy seguro que los programas que nos han brindado progreso van a tener continuidad, vamos desarrollar un mandato muy cercano a la ciudadanía y de forma incansable lo daremos todo por traer más progreso a nuestra Risaralda”.
